Oliver Wyman Financial Services

Consultant > Sr. Consultant > Associate

Oct. 2012 - March 2015

Oliver Wyman is a global management consulting firm, and in their Financial Services Practice Group, I worked on a variety of client engagements. Projects ranged in length from a few weeks to a year, and I worked on teams that ranged in size from a single other consultant to a dozen. Most work was done on site at our clients' offices.

  • Developed and documented risk models for banks regulated by U.S. Fed's CCAR program
  • Developed and implemented fraud-detection algorithm for major U.S. company (top 50 by revenue)
  • Led teams of up to four consultants

Interests

My primary interest outside of work is music. I DJed for my college radio station, I've played in a handful of bands, and I'm always down to hack on little musical projects or go to a show. Other than that, you can find me honing my cooking skills, cycling around the city, or rowing on the bayou with the New Orleans Rowing Club.

In Chicago, I served as a mentor for Chicago Scholars and tutored elementary school students once a week for Tutoring Chicago; I'm looking forward to finding volunteer opportunities in my new home, New Orleans.
